Kasia Zduniak, an inclusion and diversity (I&D) consultant at Aegon UK, was born in Warsaw, Poland and got her law degree at the Warsaw University. She was working for almost 12 years for the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) – initially in operations and for the last 3 years as its first Equality and Diversity Manager.
In August 2019 she moved to Aegon UK, where she is the first person to hold the Inclusion and Diversity Consultant position. Her role is to move the I&D Programme to the next level by creating the I&D vision and strategy that allows Aegon UK to map their journey and measure progress. She has already introduced a number of initiatives that help to embed inclusion and diversity in organisation’s culture, and she works consistently on raising awareness of importance of I&D. Her motto is that ‘Inclusion is not a zero-sum game – nobody has to be excluded in order for somebody else to be included.’
