Jay Connolly is the Global Chief Talent Officer for Dentons and responsible for delivering a leading people experience across the human resources, recruiting and learning/professional
development functions. He advises the firm’s leaders and drives forward opportunities to enhance all aspects of talent management including recruitment, performance management, diversity, training and development, and compensation and benefits programs for partners, lawyers and business
services employees at the firm.
As part of Dentons’ leadership team (Global Management
Committee and Global Board) he is focused on building a world-leading HR and talent function. Jay joined Dentons in 2011, bringing extensive experience in talent management and human resources leadership and expertise from a variety of sectors, including professional services and large global corporates. Prior to joining Dentons, he worked in the US and UK offices of Clifford Chance
LLP as a senior member of the global HR leadership team. His career has also included a senior HR role at LEGO Company, where he had HR responsibility for the UK, Italy, Benelux and Nordic regions across key divisions.
Jay began his career at Unilever undertaking HR and talent-related roles in various parts of the business, including as a member of the core team developing and implementing
the shared services approach for HR. Jay has lived in the US, UK and Europe and built extensive experience working across the Middle East and Asia.
