Bhavik Pancholi, Diversity & Inclusion Activist

Bhavik Pancholi joined the finance industry in 2003 having completed roles focused on people and leadership development. Over the last three years he held the role of Chair of TSB’s LGBTQ+ Network where he was responsible for developing LGBTQ+ strategy aligned to wider inclusion and people strategy.

By removing silo working and fostering a holistic approach to Diversity and Inclusion, Bhavik improved the visibility and engagement amongst employees with protected characteristics and their allies. During his time, he played he huge role in TSB’s first-time attendance at Pride events and driving updates and changes to policies and processes to improve the experiences for employees and customers.

In 2019, Bhavik was recognised as a ‘top ten future leader’ at the British LGBT Awards. Since leaving financial services at the end of 2019, he has focused his time on supporting businesses with their D&I initiatives. He is currently working with charity ’Queer Britain’ to establish the UK’s first national LGBTQ+ museum.
