The resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement following the death of George Floyd in 2020 acted as a catalyst for change – reminding the world about the systemic racism that still exists, giving Black voices a platform to share their experiences and challenges, prompting us to have uncomfortable conversations at home and at work, and resulting in many organisations making pledges around racial equality in a commitment to do better.

Since then, how much progress has been made? How many of the companies that promised more support, funding and activism have followed through on these intentions? Is the ethnicity pay gap closing and are companies publishing transparent reports on this? Do ethnic minority employees genuinely feel a greater sense of belonging and inclusivity at their organisations, and that racial equity has been achieved?

Hitesh was born with Cerebral Palsy. In this session, he details the challenges of his condition and details his career journey so far.

  • Detailing a diversity and inclusion approach so that everyone can feel fully integrated and supported, no matter their circumstances
