The facts and figures about wellbeing in the workplace

One in five people avoid going into work because of stress – that’s 21 per cent calling in sick because of work-related stress.

 

42 per cent of people considered resigning because of workplace stress. 14 per cent did resign because of it.

 

30 per cent of workers don’t feel able to discuss the issue of stress with their line manager.

 

More than half of employers (56 per cent) would like to improve staff wellbeing but don’t feel they have the right training or guidance.
