Mark Insch, VP, Organisation Development & Learning at Shell

Mark is an organisation development and transformation practitioner who helps companies improve profitability and growth through better organisational health, learning and performance.

In his role as VP, Organisation Development and Learning at Shell, he builds capability in OD and Learning across the company and leads group-wide change projects for the CEO and executive team.  He has recently led the operating model and organisation design for a major company restructuring programme and is currently refreshing the roadmap and innovation approach for OD and Learning.

Prior to Shell, Mark was a management consultant at Accenture for 18 years.  In his last role he was the Managing Director of a Talent and Organisation Practice in the UK, where he and his team helped clients such as BP, Shell, Centrica and SSE set their strategies, reset their organisations and transform key elements of their operating models.

He has worked with many leading companies across sectors globally and enjoys working with people from many backgrounds and cultures, having lived and worked in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Outside of work he plays golf, sails, acts as a taxi driver for his teenage sons and can’t wait to travel abroad again.
