Lia Seth, People Operations Specialist at Cleo

Lia is a Human Resources Specialist who emphasises accessibility at all times, both personally and professionally. She champions straightforward language in formal documents, inclusive language in job descriptions and postings, and anti-ableist language in everyday work conversations and meetings. She is a huge proponent of enabling remote work and supporting employees of all backgrounds.

Lia’s original writing about her experiences as a disabled woman of colour have been used and featured by the Disability Visibility Project, AMI (Accessible Media Inc.) Radio, and local NPR radio stations, among others. She has also spoken on panels celebrating the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and discussing invisible disabilities. She is passionate about disability education, discourse, and activism.
