Lia is a Human Resources Specialist who emphasises accessibility at all times, both personally and professionally. She champions straightforward language in formal documents, inclusive language in job descriptions and postings, and anti-ableist language in everyday work conversations and meetings. She is a huge proponent of enabling remote work and supporting employees of all backgrounds.
Lia’s original writing about her experiences as a disabled woman of colour have been used and featured by the Disability Visibility Project, AMI (Accessible Media Inc.)
